About PTSA

WHO WE ARE

Our most important role is helping to create a community of engaged families. We strive to:

  • Help you be informed and involved in your teen’s education;
  • Provide opportunities for students and families to build relationships and shared experiences outside the classroom;
  • Support the Robinson High School faculty through volunteering, teacher grant funding, appreciation events, and advocacy;
  • Create connections between our school, surrounding community and local business to enrich the learning environment; and
  • Advocate for policies, practices, and funding that support the academic success, health, safety, and wellbeing of every student

WHAT WE DO

We are proud to have more than 300 members which include parents, community partners, students, and faculty. Our members help us:

  • Provide teacher grants, directly impacting classrooms and learning
  • Support student members with a monthly “treat day”
  • Provide rewards for students with academic achievement and scholarly behavior
  • Run educational programs on issues such as mental health, drug and alcohol safety, internet safety, and bullying
  • Host adult get togethers to provide community to all those raising teens
  • Run community programs like our monthly clean-up, and support local non-profits through service
  • Honor our teachers and staff through appreciation event

WHAT DOES BEING A PTSA MEMBER MEAN?

We LOVE our volunteers, but being a PTSA member DOES NOT mean you need to volunteer. If simply means that you support PTSA and all the ways we support Robinson High School.

STUDENT MEMBERS are so very important to us! Every student member of PTSA may receive a monthly treat during lunch on club days.

Our goal for 2024-2025 is 600 members!
