No one disputes that social media has an impact on society. So why does it feel like teens and adults are in constant tension over screen time and social media use?
Come to a fun-spirited “public debate” style forum to get the conversation started between teens and adults. We’ll have helpful information, presentations from Robinson Speech and Debate members, and an open discussion about the benefits and downsides of social media use.
Anyone who comes alone will receive a raffle ticket to win door prizes drawn at the end. If you arrive with both a teen and adult, each person will receive three tickets.
Refreshments will be provided. (Sodas, water, baked goods, chips, etc.)
Date: Wednesday, April 16th
Time: 4-6pm
Location: Robinson High School Auditorium
Parking: Student parking lot at the corner of Lois and Rembrandt
This event is FREE! Tell your friends and let’s start the conversation!
